To recap, your personal brand is what makes you unique. It is a reflection of who you already are. It’s your core being. It’s what’s built into your DNA.
So, why is your personal brand so important as an entrepreneur? Here's 5 reasons why:
1. build your know, like & trust factor
Your personal brand help build your know, like and trust factor. Your potential clients and clients can get to know your authentic self.
The more they get to know you, the more they will start liking you. The more they like you, the more they will trust you. The more they will trust you, the more they will do business with you. The more they do business with you, the more they will refer you to others.
People don't do business with people they simply like. They buy from people they trust.

2. establish credibility
Much like the first reason, your personal brand helps establish credibility. Successful personal brands earn and build credibility.
Instead of just talking the talk, walk the talk! Credibility starts with articulating your core values and then act consistently with those values.
It means showing up consistently online showcasing your values, talents, strengths, knowledge, insights, and expertise.
3. gain expert status
Your personal brand is an important factor in gaining expert status in your industry. By discovering and leveraging your personal brand, you can establish yourself as a thought-leader and expert in your field.
A great way to leverage your personal brand is through your content marketing. By publishing a blog, guest posting on other people's blogs (check out one of my guest posts here), writing articles for online publications (like YFS Magazine - check out mine - or the Huffington Post), hosting webinars, or sharing your tips and advice by posting in Facebook groups, you're on your way to gaining expert status really quick.
4. stand out from everyone else
Your personal brand is all about what makes you unique and the feeling and impression you leave behind.
By showcasing what makes you unique, it allows you to stand out from everyone else. This becomes especially important if you're an online service-based entrepreneur. Let's face it, there are probably a lot of people who offer similar services as you do.
So, how do you stand out online from everyone else? Be yourself. Use your unique voice. Share your unique experiences and perspectives. Use your unique skills and knowledge. Share your unique mission.
5. build relationships & partnerships
Your personal brand can help you build relationships and/or partnerships with other industry experts or influencers. This may actually help accelerate your brand growth and influence as well!
Building relationships and partnerships with people that compliment your business will help you extend your reach faster to more audiences and markets, as well as position you as the expert in what you do.
An example of this would be by partnering with someone who has an upcoming launch. You could offer a bonus to their enrollees. Or, someone else could feature your launch and become an affiliate for your program or course.
Another example would be you gaining an interview on a popular podcast, or a guest post on someone else's blog.
