I am so excited to work with you and support you!  

My desire is to make each coaching session as productive as possible. I plan on giving my all during our coaching sessions, but you play a crucial roll in the success of our time together! Here are some things you can do to contribute to a great session.

Before the session:

  • Fill out the client profile (if you haven't already): CLIENT PROFILE.
  • I will email you a code to take the StrengthsFinder assessment. 
  • Take the StrengthsFinder assessment using the code provided - you should reserve about 45-minutes for this. Sit in a quiet place without distractions or interruptions. Answer each question fairly quickly without thinking too much on it...trust your gut/instincts.
  • Email your StrengthsFinder assessment results to me at least 48 hours prior to our first coaching session. Including: Top 5, action-planning guide, strengths insights if possible. Send to joy@strengthsdna.com.
  • Before our first coaching session, clear your mind.
  • Remove distractions.
  • Arrange to be in a place conducive for coaching…quiet and confidential.
  • Avoid calling on a cell phone while driving or in areas with intermittent service.
  • Have a pencil and pad handy for notes, although I can record the call if you'd like.
  • I will email you a confirmation of our first coaching session, along with the log-in information.
  • If you can, please log into the computer portion of our call as well, as I often like to screenshare during our call. 

Starting the Session:

  • Please reference the email with the log-in information and log in at the time of the call (or a couple minutes before so you're ready).

During the session:

  • Be present. Your center of interest should be on the session and our conversation.
  • Be honest, and don't be afraid to be vulnerable.
  • Take a moment to think before you respond, if needed. 

After the Session:

  • Finish writing any notes.
  • Make sure the next coaching session is on your calendar. Again, I will send you log-in info based on the date/time we choose for your next session.
  • Schedule time to follow through on your goals or exercises. 
  • Share your goals with others you trust.
